A blog about the restoration, remodel and renovation of a 1929 Chicago-style brick bungalow

In case you haven’t noticed, I started a new, permanent Before-and-After section on the site to provide a synopsis of some of our major projects. It’s accessible via the Tabs at the top.

The first two projects highlighted are the Basement and the Windows. My definition of “after” may be a little loose. In some cases, the projects are “essentially” finished, but may have some things still left to do. The basement, for example. We still haven’t replaced the drywall we had to tear out, nor have we done anything about the bathroom (or lack thereof).

Are any of these projects ever really “finished” finished?

Anyway, if you ever want an overview of the before-and-after, this will be the place to go. I’ll provide links to the original posts as well.
