when the POD has finally been taken away! The storage pod arrived on the (former) lawn of the bungalow 161 days ago, January 13th. I know this because I was away for the weekend with a couple of girlfriends. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I came home from that weekend because it meant that our neighbor was finally ready to start moving! Little did I know that the pod would still be sitting there almost six months later.
But no matter, it led to our eventual deal to purchase the place. My new-found patience will pay off. C’mon, say it with me: “Good things come to those who wait.” (Please let that be true!)
